I like the Tavern because there is lots money on the ceiling that goes to a good cause and there is a back door if you need to elude particular people plus there is usual parking out that door. Or there was probably not now that I've told everybody . Super cool place though.

The bar is clean but lacked any real food. We had chicken strips and tator tots made in a toaster oven. 3 of us went in for a few drinks and some bar grub and had to dig to get the bartender to smile. Maybe we got her because it was Monday night? Not sure but she was not welcoming whatsoever. I tried to get her to smile which was worse than pulling teeth. Next time we are in Jacksonville, we will go to the pub next door and save the attitude encounter. Maybe we weren't regulars but when I go somewhere to spemd money a smile goes along way. I even lost a $100 in their video machines, so I did my part as a customer. :)
